Cons: -Repetitive quest. You are tasked to go to point A to point B then search for items to complete quest. -Zombies too spongy. -Boss fights were boring. Just another spongy zombie that requires extra hits. -Primarily melee focused as guns feels lacking and clunky giving you a limited variety to kill zombies.
Riptide is continuing the story of the first Dead island game. It is like Dead Island 1.5. A few new features, same engine. Think of it as a stand alone expansion. You can also import your Dead Island character into Riptide but NOT vice versa. Always play Riptide AFTER finishing the main game.
